Counter-Strike 2

Live

Valve's 5v5 tactical shooter. Crosshair placement, counter-strafing, utility and calm decisions under pressure.

The CS2 hub is where Soarne started and where the founder does his own work. The guides here are about the gap between an aim trainer and a real round: taking trainer mechanics into duels, movement and counter-strafing, utility that actually gets thrown, and the mental side of a game where one round can tilt a whole map.

01What the hub covers

  • Aim application. Crosshair placement, counter-strafing, spray versus burst versus tap, and the three peeks. Raw aim-trainer work belongs at Voltaic. Everything after that belongs here.
  • Clearing and entry. Angle clearing, slicing the pie, entry order and the patience that separates a good entry from a free death.
  • Utility. A small set of smokes, flashes and molotovs learned properly, and the habit of throwing them before the fight instead of during it.
  • The mental side of CS2. Tilt, clutch nerves, the first round, comms and honest demo review. The general mental guides apply here as much as anywhere, and the CS2 guides build on them.

02Where to start

Start with From the Trainer to the Server, the founder's guide on why trainer scores climb while rank does not, and what to train instead. Then the counter-strafing guide, because in CS2 a lot of bad aim is shooting while moving. Then review three matches, find your biggest leak, and work through the guide that matches it for two weeks before you add another.

Guides here are written by the founder and, over time, by players he trusts. Everything follows the same shape: the problem, why it matters, what to do about it.
