Privacy policy

What we collect

You can read every guide without an account and without giving us anything.

• If you create an account: your name, email address and a hashed password. We never store the password itself.
• If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us. We do not get your Google password or access to your Google account.
• What you add to your profile: your Discord handle, a short bio, the games you play and the ranks you choose to show, and the guides you save.
• If you request coaching: the details in the form, including your goals and availability. These are emailed to the founders and, if configured, posted to a private Discord channel for coaches.
• Usage analytics: page views through Vercel Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not identify you.

What we use it for

• Keeping you signed in and showing you your own profile and saved guides.
• Matching you with a coach when you ask for one.
• Understanding which guides people read so we write better ones.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run advertising.

Cookies

One cookie, and only once you sign in. It holds your session so you stay signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Where it is stored and who helps us

• Neon hosts the database, in the European Union, where accounts and profiles live.
• Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics.
• Resend delivers coaching request emails.
• Google handles sign-in if you choose that option, under its own privacy policy.

Each of these processes data only to provide that service to us.

Your choices

• Edit or remove anything on your profile at any time from your account page.
• Ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it. Email the address below from the address on the account, and it is gone within a few days.
• Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you. Same address.

Children

Soarne is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly hold their data. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
